Son of Papua to be Head of Maluku Regional Office of the Department of Law and Human Rights

It could eliminate negative issue on character assassination.

The son of Papua, Demianus Rumbiak, will be promoted to be Head of Maluku Regional Office of the Department of Law and Human Rights. As a head of Maluku Regional Office, Demianus Rumbiak will be inaugurated by the Minister of Law and Human Rights, Patrialis Akbar.

Demianus Rumbiak had experiences as chief of Abepura Detention Center and head of Administration Division of Papua Regional Office of the Department of Law and Human Rights.

Head of Papua Regional Office of Department Law and Human Rights, Nazarudin Bunas said that Rumbiak’s promotion shows that the government appreciates good performance of its employees, particularly those who come from Indonesia’s easternmost province Papua.

Rumbiak’s promotion could eliminate negative issue mentioning that Papuan would have been having character assassination when promoted outside of Papua.
